Description
Designers of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic-pipe air-duct systems have difficulty finding data to use in calculating energy loss and pressure drop. This ASHRAE research study, RP-245, was sponsored by Technical Committee 5.2, Duct Design. The study determined the pressure loss due to wall friction in PVC pipe.
