Description
This column reviews the Power Trends Chart information in the first edition of ASHRAE's Datacom Equipment Power Trends and Cooling Applications, and how it sought to provide more meaningful vendor-neutral data to the design industry. Since software is the end user of the hardware, the software evolution drastically changes the load profile frequency of change.
