This SOP addresses the topic of retaining reserve samples for GxP product lots and related materials. Describes methods for obtaining, identifying, storing, and documenting retention samples of finished goods, certain subassemblies, and raw materials for use in product and subassemblies. Includes two Retention Sample Log Sheets, one for internally manufactured parts and one for purchased parts.
