CH-03-05-4 — Vapor Pressure and Specific Heat of LiBr-H2O at High Temperature

$7.50

Conference Proceeding by ASHRAE, 2003

Category:

Description

The vapor pressure and specific heat of LiBr-H2O solutions were measured at temperatures up to 250°C and concentrations up to 66% LiBr by weight. The vapor pressure measurements were done with a 1000 mL stainless steel pressure bomb fitted with a borosilicate glass liner and housed in a gas chromatograph oven, modified to automatically cycle the temperature. The estimated accuracy of the vapor pressure measurements, expressed as a variation in dew-point temperature, is 0.5°C. Specific heat was measured with a Calvet calorimeter running in differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) mode with high-pressure closed cells. Estimated accuracy for the specific heat measurements is 2% up to 200°C and 3% above 200°C.
