Description
This paper evaluates the current control procedures for variable speed pumps when applied to HVAC water systems. This evaluation includes 1) water system head analysis, 2) procedures for controlling pump speed, and 3) the determination of the correct number of pumps that should be in operation on multiple-pump installations.
