Description
According to the author, higher levels of thermal resistance and reduced heat gain across building enclosures have forever changed the performance of buildings and not necessarily in a good way. To solve the problem, Lstiburek advocates insulating on the outside, back-ventilating and draining cladding, separating sensible load from latent load and not overventilating.
