Description
Post-occupancy studies revealed that noise levels and lack of speech privacy are major complaints in buildings designed to be sustainable. This article gives practical acoustic design strategies for sustainable buildings to function satisfactorily for occupants. Systems covered include passive cooling, energy recovery and noise masking systems.
