Scope
This method covers the evaluation of natural decay resistanceof wood, but may also be used to evaluate the resistance ofother wood-based materials to degradation by wooddestroyingfungi. AWPA-E10 shall be used for wood productstreated with a wood preservative or modified through othermeans. This standard does not purport to address all of thesafety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is theresponsibility of the user of this standard to establishappropriate safety and health practices and determine theapplicability of regulatory limitations prior to use.
