Description
Describes some of the results and conclusions from a study of more than 60 different configurations of dual tank systems having various plumbing and controls schemes. States extensive laboratory tests revealed numerous unexpected results where some approaches did not work as well as expected, while other approaches worked very well when not expected to work at all. States the various plumbing and controls connection methods can be used to achieve widely differing performance objectives such as optimised hot water delivery volume vs controlled electrical demand characteristics, delayed recovery vs fast recovery and more.
