This standard sets forth theminimum elements and activities of aprogram that defines the duties andresponsibilities of construction anddemolition employers to be followed whileentering, exiting and working in confinedspaces at normal atmospheric pressure.
Exception: This standard does not pertain tounderground mining, tunneling, caissonwork or other similar tasks that haveestablished national consensus standards.
