Description
Specifies safety requirements for inductive-type ballasts for discharge lamps such as high-pressure mercury vapour, low- and high-pressure sodium vapour and metal halide lamps for use on a.c. supplies up to 1000 V at 50 Hz or 60 Hz. This Standard is identical with and has been reproduced from IEC 60922:1997.
