Description
Proposes the adoption of IEC¿¿60898-2:2003 as a joint Australian/New Zealand Standard. Contains essential safety and associated requirements for single-pole and two-pole circuit-breakers which are suitable for operation with divert current and have a rated d.c. voltage not exceeding 220¿¿V for single-pole and 440¿¿V for two-pole circuit-breakers, a rated current not exceeding 125¿¿A and a rated d.c. short-circuit capacity not exceeding 10¿¿000¿¿A. This draft Standard is intended for use in conjunction with IEC¿¿60898-1 (which has been prepared as a revision of AS/NZS¿¿4989:1997).
