Description
Refers to those international standards which define the architectural principles governing the provision of the network service; defines terms which may be used in specifying the environments in which protocol combinations operate; specifies principles and a framework for describing the support of the OSI network service and defines the conformance principles to be followed in the other parts of AS/NZS 4107 which specify the requirements for equipment claiming conformance to AS/NZS 4107. This Standard is identical with, and has been reproduced from, ISO/IEC 8880-1:1990.
