Specifies requirements and tests for controllers and starters intended to be connected to circuits, the rated voltage of which does not exceed 1000¿¿V¿¿a.c. and which uses power semi-conductor switching elements for simple starting and stopping, manoeuvring and controlled running of induction motors. Is identical with and reproduced from consolidation Edition 2.1 (2002-03) of IEC¿¿60947-4-2.
