Specifies a flame atomic absorption spectrometric method using direct aspiration of the extracted iodide complexes into an air/acetylene flame, for the determination of copper, cadmium or lead in urine. The method is suitable for the following ranges of cadmium 0.02 to 0.20 ¿¿mol, copper 0.30 to 4.00 ¿¿mol and lead 0.10 to 2.00 ¿¿mol.
