Sustainable design principles were woven into every aspect of a California science lab and renovated classroom building. Decoupled ventilation and heating/cooling systems and fully integrated waterside economizing help contribute to energy savings of 47% compared to the ASHRAE/IES Standard 90.1-2007 baseline.
