Description
Describes a new procedure developed to discover leaks or a blocked branch in district heating networks. The method works by taking the network as a whole system and making the detection according to the distribution of pressures measured at some points in the network. States that as the information from the measured data can be used with maximum efficiency, the number of sensors required can be reduced significantly. Sets out the basic idea of the method and describes the procedure step by step. Provides a numerical example.
