$7.50

Conference Proceeding by ASHRAE, 1994

Category:

Description

Proposes a new hydronic circuit for central air conditioning plants which achieves control of zone temperatures by the use of a variable-speed pump at each terminal unit. No control valves are used. States the system has been tested on a laboratory scale and performed well. Presents the results of this work. States the system offers ease of design and ease of commissioning over current designs, but requires development work on small, speed-controlled pumps to become a viable alternative.
