3360 — Design and Laboratory Testing of a Portable Thermoelectric Calorimeter for Measuring Heat Flow Through Walls

$7.50

Conference Proceeding by ASHRAE, 1990

Category:

Description

A portable wall calorimeter having a thermoelectric heat pump was designed, constructed, and tested in the laboratory. This calorimeter measures heat flow through a building wall during the summer heat gain as well as the winter heat loss season. The design, testing and validation of the accuracy of the calorimeter are presented.

KEYWORDS: calorimeters, laboratory testing, validating, thermoelectric heat pumps, designing, portable, heat flow, buildings, walls, measuring, summer, heat gain, winter, heat loss, accuracy, heat pumps.
