Description
Des Moines Area Community College’s new West Campus technology classroom building is part of a nearly wireless and paperless high-tech campus. At this technically progressive institution in Iowa, students use handheld computers for classroom work and instructors write on electronic whiteboards that save notes written on them. However, one of the most innovative designs lies beneath the classroom floor.
