Description
To dry air and similar gases at atmospheric pressures, it is frequently advantageousto employ dehumidifiers utilizing solid desiccants, such as silica gel,activated alumina, and lithium chloride impregnated structures. Such machines,made up in a configuration similar to that of an air handling unit, are commerciallyavailable in sizes from 50 cfm through 60,000 cfm.
The solid sorbent dehumidifier is a versatile item of equipment suitable forcontrol of air moisture levels for a wide variety of applications.
