Description
According to the Department of Energy studies, electric motors account for more energy consumption than the passenger automobile. It is, therefore, important that motor efficiency and all factors involved in achieving higher efficiencies be understood. This paper will concentrate on direct drive fan motors or permanent split capacitor motors.
