Description
Seven energy-reduction strategies sometimes overlooked in mechanical design are presented in this column. These improvements can be made without loss of space and with minimal cost consequences, especially if they were included in the original design. Strategies involve duct static pressure reset, using two-way valves instead of three way, and more.
