4054 — Deferred Heat Supply for Space Heating Using a Capacity-Limiting Device – A Beneficial Approach for District Heating

$7.50

Conference Proceeding by ASHRAE, 1997

Category:

Description

Presents design requirements and actual modes of operation for an innovative combined space heating and domestic hot water control system in consumer heating substations. In addition gives recommendations for system application in district heating. States the system is completely controllable and its mode of operation can be predicted by computer simulation. Notes the control system benefits district heating by minimising the first cost and by improving the reliability of the district heating heat supply to the consumers. In addition, states the system allows for better flow rate uniformity in the utility network piping system.
