The commissioning project of Mercy Hospital in Fort Scott, Kan., cost $207,789. It was projected to save $181,310 each year. Actual annual energy savings are $389,000. Simultaneous heating and cooling costs associated with high minimum airflow rates and improper control sequences were the most significant problems.
