Specifies the basic requirements for the specification and testing of Series 1 and Series R dry bulk containers of the non-pressurized type, which are suitable for international exchange and for conveyance by road, rail and sea, including interchange between these forms of transport. Technically equivalent to and reproduced from ISO 1496-4:1991.
