standard by Standards Australia,

Category:

Description

Specifies a method for the design of circular tubeplates used in shell and tube heat exchangers and in some types of boilers. It is intended to be used in conjunction with AS 1210, Pressure vessels, and, as moments, stresses, and deflection across the tubeplate are determined by this method, it may also be used with AS 1210 Supplement 1. The method is applicable to long-hand calculations, but its most effective use will be achieved by programming a computer. An appendix provides an algorithm to assist in computer programming, as well as, a suggested worksheet and worked examples.RECONFIRMATION NOTICETechnical Committee ME-001 has reviewed the content of this publication and in accordance with Standards Australia procedures for reconfirmation, it has been determined that the publication is still valid and does not require change.Certain documents referenced in the publication may have been amended since the original date of publication.
