This standard is a coating technical file that assists those in the ship-building industry who are interested in compliance with IMO Resolution MSC.215. It contains documentation for the selection, specification, installation, and inspection of coatings for seawater ballast tanks and double-skin spaces in ships. Also included is documentation of in-service maintenance and repair of these coating systems. This standard is maintained by Task Group (TG) 402.
