This standard is to be used in conjunction withthe AWPA Standards C1?All Timber Products?Preservative Treatment by Pressure Processes, C2?Lumber, Timbers, Bridge Ties and Mine Ties?Preservative Treatment by Pressure Processes, andM2?Standard for Inspection of Treated TimberProducts. AWPA Standards C1, C2 and M2 are herebymade a part of this Standard.
Structural Composite Lumber (SCL) is afamily of engineered wood products that combine woodfiber with exterior-type adhesives to form lumberproducts of virtually any cross-sectional size. The woodfiber may be in the form of veneers, strands, or acombination thereof, bonded together with wet-usestructural adhesives. Materials which do not conform tothe definitions below are beyond the scope of thisstandard.
